Time to Build

If you didn’t lay a solid foundation in Phase 1, I would strongly suggest revisiting it before moving on to Phase 2. Phase 1 is about figuring out who you are, where you are right now, and where you’re headed. Phase 2 is where the work actually begins.

This is the phase where intentions turn into action. Where you stop just thinking about change and start showing up for it. It’s time to wake up with purpose and drive. For me, that looks like finding ways to keep this blog fresh, starting my mornings in positive energy, and staying ready for the challenges that come with keeping myself a priority. Saying no when I need to. Keeping myself — and this program — at the front instead of pushing it aside.

Phase 2 is where the shift happens. Where wishing and wanting turns into grinding. Head down. Plowing forward. Building the vision instead of talking about it.

One thing that helps me stay grounded in this phase is journaling. Getting the negative garbage out of my head and onto paper. There’s something therapeutic about releasing it that way. Those thoughts are still yours, but once they’re written down, they stop taking up space. They stop running the show. I often burn my journals after I’m done writing as a symbol of destroying what no longer serves me. I let the Universe have it and move on.

This time around, my journey is focused on my physical health. I’m learning how to make movement and self-care a priority. I’m sneaking in movement regularly, taking my vitamins and supplements, eating better — but I’m struggling with sleep. Staying up too late is slowing everything down. Balance matters here. If I keep putting it off, my progress stays slow.

I don’t know what your 365 Days of Me journey looks like, but I do know this: if you don’t put in the work — the real work, the hard work, the dedication to yourself — you’ll find yourself in the same place day after day, year after year.

You have to do the work if you want this vision to manifest.
