Notice

Today feels less about doing and more about noticing. Noticing what’s steady, what’s supportive, and what already feels aligned beneath the surface.

Sometimes changes happen so subtly that we don’t even realize they’ve occurred—but things are shifting. There’s a quietness to it. No big announcement. No fireworks. And then one morning, you realize… it’s working. Things are changing. You are making the changes. And the investment you’re making in yourself is paying off.

The most important small changes don’t scream at us like the big “result” moments do—but they’re the ones that matter most. They’re the ones that build toward those big moments. And honestly, those big moments often take a lot of energy to reach. So today, instead of chasing the outcome, notice the subtle changes that have already happened since you started this journey.

Or, if you’re just starting, notice where you are right now. Then check in again a week from now. If you’re truly investing in yourself, those small, subtle changes will already be there.

For me, I’m not fighting sugar addiction anymore. It’s not a daily battle to avoid Scooter’s. I barely even think about it now. When I do want something sweet, I reach for fruit or homemade Lara bars with dates, or chocolate chips sweetened with allulose because they’re easier on blood sugar. I didn’t even realize it had happened—but those small, consistent choices basically shut down that internal struggle. That was the big moment. But all the small choices had to come first.

I’m sleeping better, too. That came from small, intentional changes—nightly rituals, decaf coffee in the afternoon instead of fully loaded, at least 20 minutes of intentional movement each day. I’ve learned that for some people, supplements like B6 and 5-HTP can actually boost energy and work better earlier in the day, so I adjusted that. I’ve changed my sleeping positions. Now I’m working on getting to bed earlier.

None of these were huge on their own—but together, they led to a major shift. Sleep is the foundation of health and wellness, so that’s my focus right now. Once that’s steady, weight comes next. Weight comes after diet, daily routines, and sleep patterns. And I’m almost there.

And this is after just one month of intentionally investing in myself. Saying no when something doesn’t align with my goals. Making myself invest even when I don’t feel like it. It’s the small, everyday choices that rewire your autopilot and move you toward what you want.

So take a moment today and appreciate the small things you’re doing. Even if you haven’t reached a big moment yet, the small moments absolutely count—and they will get you there.

Phase 2: Growth — Journaling Prompts

  • Where am I noticing momentum building, even if the results aren’t fully visible yet?

  • What small, intentional choices am I making that are slowly reshaping my daily routines or habits?

  • What feels more aligned or less effortful now compared to when I first started this phase?

Growth doesn’t always feel dramatic. Sometimes it just feels quieter, steadier, and more intentional—and that’s how you know it’s working.
