I Chose
I keep waking up pissed off.
Like seriously—before my eyes are even fully open, I’m already irritated and annoyed.
I’m not sleeping well. Not enough. And it shows.
This morning was no different…
Until now.
Because I’m making a choice.
I’m choosing to notice what I have to be grateful for and pull my thoughts into a better space.
To focus on what this day actually has to offer me.
I woke up in a quiet, clean house.
Nothing is pulling at me today. No pressure. No demands.
I get to putter. I get to follow what feels good.
I’m excited to make the shampoo and conditioner bars—that was one of my first thoughts this morning.
I get to listen to music all day.
I get to watch Spring slowly push its way in.
I get to open the windows and let fresh air move through my home.
I get to move through my day freely.
So today, I choose to enjoy me.
I choose to have gratitude for this quiet space.
I choose to let the day be what it is—and just be in it.
I choose positive, forward thinking today.

What is actually causing my irritation right now—and what part of it is within my control?
If I fully allowed myself to enjoy today without guilt or pressure, what would that look like?
What small things in my life right now deserve more of my attention and appreciation than I’ve been giving them?
