Life Hit. I Didn’t Quit.
As I am heading into Phase 4, I struggle to find my footing.
I was not prepared for life to hit me like that, and it threw me off a bit—but I am not about to quit.
I am spending time this morning thinking about what I need out of Phase 4 and realizing not everyone will have a hit like I did in their Phase 3, so I am looking at this a little differently.
I need something to help me get back up and take off in the right direction, and other people will be continuing their journey, so I need to make it fit for everyone—not just me.
So let’s talk about Phase 4.
The awareness happens in Phase 1. The building of new life structures starts in Phase 2 and gets refined in Phase 3. Phase 4 is where everything should be built and ready to live inside of.
So Phase 4 needs to be about consistency no matter what life throws your way. You don’t wait for life to be calm, easy, or ideal to show up for yourself.
You stay in what you’ve built—even when it looks different than it did yesterday.
You learn to adjust and pivot inside real life and navigate situations while keeping your focus on YOU.
Ok, I have a good direction so far and I am excited about building this one out.
So what does showing up actually look like in this phase?
I used to quit, throw my hands in the air, and just be done with it.
Not this time. This time I am fighting for ME.
Learning to navigate the hard shit and keep moving forward.
Getting back up after life knocks me down. Not quitting. Not disappearing. Not starting over.
Today I am focusing on strengthening my path forward.
Balancing daycare with my actual needs.
Getting my workout in, even if it looks different. Turning on the music and dancing with them.
This isn’t about having perfect days.
This is about staying in it, on the good days and the hard ones.
This is what Phase 4 looks like for me.
Journaling prompts:
What does showing up look like for me today at the level I’m actually at right now?
Where do I usually quit or disappear when things get hard, and what would it look like to stay instead?
What is one thing I can do today to stay in my path, even if it’s not perfect?
