Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is keep going when nothing feels easy.

I almost didn’t write this morning.

I’m struggling again, and I don’t want this blog to turn into me just talking about struggling all the time.

But then I thought… this is my life right now.

Some seasons are harder than others.

And right now, I’m in one of those seasons.

My sleep is screwed up.

And since sleep is the foundation of everything, it’s no surprise the rest of it is starting to feel off too.

I am TIRED.

And tired turns into unmotivated, which turns into stressed, which turns into wanting to say screw it.

But I’m not doing that.

I’m not giving up just because this part is hard.

I’m trying to figure it out.

Not all at once. Not perfectly. Just trying different things and seeing what helps.

I know I need a new mattress. That’s just the truth.

I don’t have the money to drop on one right now, so I’m working with what I’ve got.

I’m going to check my box springs, tighten everything up, maybe put a piece of plywood under the mattress and see if that helps.

I’ve also been going back and forth on putting a mattress on credit. I hate the idea of that, but I’m being real about it being an option.

I only have a few payments left on my computer, so I’m weighing it out.

I’m also upgrading my CPAP mask to see if that makes a difference.

And I’ve been looking into supplements and have a few I’m going to try.

So yeah… nothing deep or inspirational today.

This is just where I’m at.

Trying to fix something that isn’t working.

So I’m asking you…

What actually helped you when your sleep was messed up?

Not the perfect answer.

Not the “you should” answer.

What actually worked for you?

Because I’m open to trying things right now.

I don’t think every season is meant to look put together.

Some are just about figuring it out as you go.

And that’s where I’m at right now.

Where is my body asking for support right now, and am I actually listening to it?
What am I trying to push through that might need to be addressed instead?
What is one small thing I can change today that might help, even a little?
