Daily Routines
This is the key for growth and elevation.
This feels simple on the surface, but the impact it’s having on my life is anything but small.
One intentional habit I’m building—getting up, making my coffee, and sitting down to write with positivity and growth in mind—is quietly changing the entire rhythm of my day. It’s not dramatic or forced. It’s gentle. And it’s powerful.
I struggle with seasonal depression, so winter has never been my favorite time of year. I have to be very intentional about staying positive during these months. Working from home and rarely leaving the house adds another layer that can really weigh on my mental health.
And yet… something has shifted.
Where there used to be constant frustration, there is now a noticeable calm. I’m responding to stress differently—without effort, without overthinking. I can literally feel my nervous system relaxing. That alone is huge. All from changing my morning routine.
Years ago, when I lived in Omaha, I used to listen to Tony Robbins on my drive back to Clarinda every Monday morning. He talked a lot about standards and the power of daily rituals. Those ideas stuck with me. I started listening to motivational content every morning, and the change was incredible. I was driven. Focused. Purposeful. Excited about my goals and the life I was creating.
Then life happened.
Kids moved back home. I moved back to Clarinda permanently. I built a new business. My morning ritual disappeared—and I never returned to it. It felt like one challenge after another, and somewhere along the way, I lost sight of what mattered most.
Me.
When I first envisioned Mind Body Soul, I knew exactly what I wanted it to be. Candles and bath & body products were meant to be supportive tools—not the main focus. But the food-candle craze took over, and slowly, my original vision got buried. That phase has now passed, and I finally have the space to realign and create what I always intended to create.
I don’t regret that season at all. It built a community—one that trusts me. And now I get to share what I’m truly passionate about: building an apothecary, offering real medicine alongside education, supporting better diets and lifestyles, clean living in the home, and teaching the life-changing power of mindset and positivity.
Mind Body Soul was always meant to be exactly that—mind, body, and soul. A place for transformation. Elevation. Simple tools, real education, and meaningful motivation. A community of like-minded people choosing to live lives that actually feel good.
This work requires focus. It requires dedication. And it requires strong daily rituals that guide me forward.
That’s where 365 Days of Me comes in.
It has become deeply woven into Mind Body Soul and is the perfect starting point for anyone ready to shift their mindset and intentionally build the inner space they want to live in. Honestly, it’s just as important—if not more important—than anything else I offer. And I am so excited to share this journey.
My hope is that you create a morning ritual—one that supports you, grounds you, and gently elevates your life.
Because small daily shifts change everything.
