Gentle Momentum
“The year has begun, and today is about settling in—listening, adjusting, and moving forward with intention rather than urgency.”
Ohhh how I needed this reminder today!!
I caught myself running around like a chicken with my head cut off this morning—trying to get everything done all at once. Unload and reload the dishes, strain the last of the fire cider and dehydrate the pulp, strain and bottle the clove water, tag the new tea bags, organize labels and bags and brochures, get the elderberry syrup made… oh yeah—turn on the wax for candles… and wait—open the shop!! 😅
And that’s just the start…
SLOW DOWN. BREATHE.
I have to make a conscious effort to stay present and focused—one task at a time—actually enjoying the process instead of racing through it. All of this matters deeply to me. I want things ready and available when people need them, but I also want to honor the joy of creating them.
Taking a step back has never been easy for me. I’m naturally GO GO GO—buzzing around like an ADHD bee 😂
So… deep breath, JaSi. Slow down.
Today, I’m choosing to move at a more relaxed pace—fully present in the moment I’m in and the creations I’m working on. There is enough time. And whatever doesn’t get done today? Tomorrow is waiting.
Learning to prioritize.
Learning to breathe.
I’ve got this.
