365 Days of Me!!!
Negative thinking pollutes and paralyzes your efforts! POSITIVE THINKING energizes and elevates your actions. ~ Rick Conlow
Beautifully put!
For me, negativity has always been my first instinct. I have to consciously and mindfully look for the positives, or I can quickly get pulled into the poor me mindset—and that’s when I start to drown.
Several years ago, I made a commitment to myself: start every morning with a positive quote and journal—every single day. That simple practice made a profound difference in my life. As my birthday approached, I decided to take it a step further and committed to 365 Days of Me. Starting on my birthday, I began a year-long journey of intentionally loving myself. That journey changed me. It helped me grow into the best version of myself I had ever known.
There was something powerful about making my coffee and dedicating my mornings to my mental health. Finding a quote, journaling about it, printing it, laminating it, and placing it on my vision board shifted something deep inside me. It empowered me—and it set the tone for my entire day.
Without even trying, I began living healthier. For the first time in my life, I truly cared about me. I completed the full 365 days and immediately started another year. Somewhere along the way, that morning ritual faded. I can’t quite remember when or how it happened—but I do know this: I’m ready to return to it.
This time, I’m starting with the new year instead of my birthday… and honestly, who cares? 😄
The difference this time? I want to share this journey with anyone who feels called to join me. I’m even considering starting a Facebook page where we can do this together—supporting, encouraging, and growing side by side.
Does that sound like something you’d be interested in? Let me know in the comments on my Facebook post.d maybe you’ll get invited to join!
