I cannot believe I got BOTH sheds cleaned and organized!!

Let’s go!!! WooHoo!!!

Now that the biggest project is done, I can finally start overhauling the shop and creating a balanced retail space. I’ve got some big ideas, and I am so excited to watch this transformation unfold.

But let’s talk about this weekend for a second…

I worked for over 16 hours cleaning those sheds. Moving stuff from one to the other, hauling heavy items, bending, lifting, carrying… nonstop.

Hard, laborious work for this old, out-of-shape body.

So naturally, I expected to wake up in pain.

Like… I was bracing myself for it.

I got out of bed thinking, here it comes…

And then…

Nothing.

NO PAIN. NONE.

What???!!!!

There is NO WAY.

I worked my ass off. I used muscles I forgot even existed.

How is it possible I don’t hurt?

Not even my usual back pain.
Not the stiffness I’ve just gotten used to living with.

Nothing.

That’s when it hit me…

For months now, I’ve been trying to figure out this sleep issue.

I replaced my mattress.
I got new pillows.
And I finally replaced my office chair.

Let me just say this loud and clear…

If you are sitting in a crappy chair every day—GET A NEW ONE.

I bought mine off Marketplace and didn’t realize it was broken.

One day I noticed it tipping forward. I flipped it over and sure enough—it had been rigged and was completely off.

Which means…

I had been sitting for hours every day, leaning forward, constantly fighting that tilt without even realizing it.

No wonder my back was wrecked.

No wonder I was waking up in pain.

That chair was the problem.

Not my body.

And now?

I’m finally sleeping better.

And here’s the part that really matters…

I just spent 16 hours doing hard physical labor—and my body handled it.

That changes everything.

Because for the longest time, I thought something was wrong with me.

But it wasn’t.

It was the environment I was putting my body in every single day.

And once I changed that?

My body responded.

So if you’re out here thinking your body is broken…

Take a step back and ask yourself:

Is it really your body… or is it what you’ve been putting it through?

Because sometimes the problem isn’t you.

It’s the setup.

Journal Prompts

  1. Where in my daily life might something small be creating a bigger physical impact than I realize?

  2. What have I been blaming on my body that might actually be coming from my environment or habits?

  3. What is one change I can make this week that better supports how my body feels day to day?
